Any goal.
Exactly three steps.

Describe what you want. Get three steps in the order they unblock each other — with what will get in the way, how you know each one is done, and the one thing to do in the next hour.

The more you say about your actual situation — what you've tried, what's in the way, how much time you really have — the less generic the plan.

Why the number is the product

Three is not a design flourish. It is the constraint that does the work — an unconstrained planner will always hand you more than you can act on.

01

A long list is a way of not deciding

Twenty actions feel like progress because writing them is easy. But a list that contains everything ranks nothing, so you start with whichever item is least uncomfortable — and that is almost never the one that moves the goal.

02

Three fits in your head

You can hold three things without a document. That matters more than it sounds: a plan you have to go and look up is a plan you stop consulting by week two.

03

You can always come back

Three steps is not the whole journey — it is the next stretch of it. Finish them, come back, describe where you now are, and get the next three. The map redraws itself with better information.

Free to plan. Pay only for depth.

There is no subscription and nothing renews. If the free plan is all you need, that is a complete product — take it and go.

Questions

Why only three steps?

Because a list of twenty things is a way of avoiding the decision about what matters. Three forces the plan to name the things that actually move the goal, in the order they unblock each other. You can always come back for the next three once the first three are done.

Is it free?

Yes. Writing a goal and getting your three steps is free, with no signup and no card. The optional Deep Plan is a one-off payment that expands the same three steps into week-by-week actions, stall signals, check-in questions and a rule for when to change course.

What kind of goals does it work for?

Anything with a real outcome: changing career, clearing a debt, getting fit, launching a side business, passing an exam, finishing a home project, or breaking a habit. It works less well for vague wishes — the more specific your description, the more specific the plan.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no signup, no password and no profile. Your goal is used to generate the plan and is not stored against an account.

What if the plan is wrong?

Rewrite your goal with more detail — your constraints, your deadline, what you have already tried — and generate again. A plan is only as specific as the situation you describe. It is a starting structure, not professional advice.

Is this financial, medical or legal advice?

No. Three Point Plan produces a general structure for working towards a goal you describe. For anything with money, health or legal consequences, check it with a qualified professional before acting.
